Our story started as a family legacy that has spanned 3 generations of industrious women. Our founder, Aderoju Odunsi’s childhood was filled with various herbal mixtures from herbs and leaves from the matriarchs of her large family which were used to flush out all the unhealthy junk food as is usual for a child and prevent frequent illnesses.

In later years, with the growing interest in wellness and alternative therapies, Aderoju, an Agribusiness specialist who has operated a mechanized farm since 1986, realized the untapped benefits of locally grown medicinal plants in Nigeria and started exploring and researching various combinations with her immediate family as the sampling and testing board. The Sorello brand has grown to be a distinguished Nigerian brand as recognized by the excellence of its products and the different notable awards received.

The award winning Sorello drink is the 1st Sorrel drink to be approved in Nigeria by NAFDAC after many years of home brewing.
